octubre 29, 2022(27 de octubre 2022) Le informarnos a la población estudiantil que del 17 al 19 de diciembre debatirán COMPLETEMENTE EN INGLES Avanzados ‘A’ vs. Avanzados ‘B’. Se transmitirá el debate por FACEBOOK LIVE las 3 noches con sus 22 competidores.
El ganador automáticamente recibirá 100% en su examen verbal, 93% por un empate y el perdedor tendrá 85% para efectos del segundo parcial. Cada ronda ganada contara en el marcador global del grupo.
Cada debate tendrá una duración de 40 minutos divididos en:
- Una introducción de 5 minutos por debatiente (10 minutos en total)
- Un careo de 20 minutos en donde se podrán hacer hasta 5 preguntas por debatiente con dos minutos para contestar por alumno.
- Un cierre de 5 minutos por debatiente explicando por gano el debate (10 minutos en total)

Are “Gender Neutral Restrooms” in public spaces and institutions in Mexico an important step for gender equality for both the heterosexual and LGBTQI communities?
Brayan will defend the YES and Larissa will defend the NO.

Christopher will defend the YES and Erika will defend the NO.

Luis Esparza (Advanced ‘A’) vs. Ivan Gomez (Advanced ‘B’)
Is the militarization of Mexico in the construction of its infrastructure, business entrepreneurship and commanding “La Guardia Nacional” a potential threat to its democratic institutions?
Luis will defend the YES and Ivan will defend the NO.

Dulce Salazar (Advanced ‘A’) vs. Julieta Ibarra (Advanced ‘B’)
Should Mexico follow the Finnish educational model of not assigning homework or testing students in their schools?
Dulce will defend the YES and Julieta the NO.

Raul Yañez (Advanced ‘A’) vs. David Gonzalez (Advanced ‘B’)
Is the dominance of the U.S. Dollar, as the #1 reserve currency in the world, in danger by BRICS idea of creating a gold backed currency?
Raul will defend the YES and David will defend the NO.

Which state is the most prosperous, with less crime rate, better schools, lower tax rates, less government debt and better quality of life? The blue state of California (democratic party) or the red state of Texas (republican party)?
Edgar will defend CALIFORNIA and MANUEL will defend TEXAS.
